ISOM does not issue degrees but we do work with three University and Seminary entities in the USA who issue degrees that are recognized here in the USA and around the world for Ministry training. These degrees are recognized in the USA but are NOT Government Accredited which means:

1. You cannot get Federal student loans for your studies
2. You cannot transfer your credit to a University where people pay tens of thousands of dollars per term for their studies
3. You cannot use your degree for secular employment advancement where an employer has to pay you more because of educational advancement and this includes using your degree on a resume without specifying that it’s not government accredited

ISOM students are paying less than $10 per credit hour and University students are paying $350 + per credit hour. This does not make your instruction inferior, but it does restrict the above three areas for obvious financial reasons. The government recognizes that religious education is different in it's nature and content and allows Religious Exempt degrees to be issued that are accredited under recognized religious accrediting agencies like Transworld Accreditation Commission which ISOM falls under. As well, the vast majority of ministry training in the USA happens under a Religious Exempt banner including famous institutions like Christ for the Nations in Dallas and Rhema Bible College in Tulsa Oklahoma. Without ANY additional work, ISOM content will be accepted for Associate, Bachelors and Masters Degrees by Vision International University, Covenant Theological Seminary and Christian Leadership University.

For those wanting to use their ISOM award for SECULAR job advancement, we have a relationship with Vision College in Australia. Upon graduation from ISOM a student can take three additional classes (costing about $1,000) and get a government accredited Diploma of Christian Ministry and Theology. This can be used on job resumes. The overwhelming reason ISOM students take our training is to get high quality training from some of the best instructors in the world at an affordable price. ISOM will train up to the Masters level and the three University and Seminary entities we work with will enable students to progress further and get their doctorate degrees through them. In churches and ministry circles our training is recognized and respected because of the amazing fruit that comes out of our students. One denomination, the Elim denomination out of Lima, New York, has seen such good fruit from ISOM students that it accepts ISOM training as the training component of their ministerial licensing requirements.
